The Parlor
Parlor(1): The parlor will be used when guests come. People will be able to gossip or just talk in this room. There will only be one parlor in this house because it is a smaller house and they do not have enough money to afford a parlor separate for boys and girls. The Parlor will be formal and fit to show off what they have. We chose this parlor because it looks like one of a middle class party. It is formal but not overly expensive and looks nice. This picture is the perfect parlor for our small plantation.
The Dining Room
Formal Dining Room(1): This room will be the formal dining room. The Dining Room will be used only when guests are over. They will eat in this room when you have guests over to eat or when you have a party, and will not be used when it is just family. Its only used when guests are there because it has valuable items in it that show off their wealth. We chose this Dining Room because it looks very formal and nice for eating with visitors. It has a piano and a harp which shows their wealth. The walls have a nice design. Notice that the walls are not real dark colors. This would be unaffordable for a small plantation owner. This dining room would be a nice place to eat when you have company.
The Guest Bedroom.
Guest Bedroom(2):This room will be the guest bedroom. The guest bed room will be for staying the night in. The guest bed room will also be for family if they come over. The room will be for sleeping in. The room also has a fire fire place that is not used very often. The bed as you can see has some red and white curtians hanging from it. If your when your family is over and you have a party they can come in here to get some rest or freshion up. When the day is done they can come in here for a nights sleep.
Boy's bedroom.
The Guest Bedroom
Bedroom(3):One bed room will be for the boy in the family. Another bed will be for the girl in the family. The last bedroom will be for the mom and dad. There are 3 bedrooms because mom and dad needs there own bedroom. There a a boy room and a girls room because a girl doesn't need to be in a boy's room. A boy doesn't need to be in a girls room. The bed rooms are for sleeping in just like the guestroom.

The Kitchen.
Kitchen(1):The kitchen is were the meals will be prepared. Bread will also be made in here as well. The kitchen is spearted from the house so the house doesn't get to hot in the house because of the fire cooking all the food. The kitchen is also speared so the house doesn't catch on fire if something goes wrong in the kitchen. The kitchen is were some slaves worked if they had any. When the food was cooked they would bring it to the house so they can eat.
Laundry/dishes room.
Laundry/dishes room(1): The laundry rooms were there clothes would be washed for them so they don't smell. The dishes will be washed in this room so they have nice clean dishes to eat off of. The room is with the laundry/dishes room are to together because they will only have to bring water to one place. To get the water warm they have a fire to do that. So this room was also spearted from the house. So the house won't get hot only the Laundry/dishes room will get hot in there.
